For all my ladies out there who rock weaves, you know how tedious it is to wash your hair with your sew-in. It took me around 2 hours to do the daunting task today. The hardest part; washing my natural hair and the weave with two different shampoos. For my natural curly hair, all natural shampoo. For the weave, Pantene Pro-V. I then pondered my value for my natural hair. I value everything natural about my body. God has already provided everything for us to maintain and sustain our natural milieu. When we're thirsty, God has provided plentiful amounts of water! Hungry? Natural fruits and vegetables. Sick? Our ancestors have understood the healing remedies of nature for centuries. Hair needs washed? Rosemary, lemon juice and tea tree oil seem much healthier that ammonium laureth sulfate, don't you think?
I think I'm going to become more natural.
Here is a natural shampoo recipe from the blog "Thank God I'm Natural"
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup castile soap
1/2 tsp jojoba oil
