Yesterday, I decided to go on a hair product shopping spree. Well, sort of. I spent $50 on hair products to enhance my natural curls. About 6 months ago my friends told me that I've had the same hairstyle since 9th grade. The sad part is that I agreed with them. So, I felt like I needed a change. I went completely natural (free from straightening and relaxers), but dyed my hair "Sunny Auburn" from black. I watched countless YouTube tutorials on how to style curly hair and I believe I finally got my routine down.

There's eye shadow there too! |
Then I ran out of products. I ended up straightening my hair. So yesterday was the end of that! Now I have wonderful things from CVS and Tisun Beauty Supply here in Charlotte. I wasn't the only person who wanted a change. I gave my boyfriend a "texturizer" last night! He wanted prettier and more pronounced waves. So to celebrate, and show off our new hairstyles, we went to Amos' Southend to see Carson perform. Our friend's little brother is the drummer. It was also my first ever rock concert.
Can't really see the curls but it's there! |
